The talk is based on Sri Aurobindo’s manuscript ‘The Bourgeois and the Samurai’, which was written in 1907-08 but ceased by the police and never finalized for print. Eventually, it was recovered, transcribed and published by Sri Aurobindo Archives in 1978. Now it can be found in the Collected Works [CWSA 7: 1091-1108].
